About me
I am a deep thinker, recovering perfectionist and die-hard idealist when it comes to believing in each individual’s potential for healing and growth. I’ve always experienced the world deeply, and have been impacted by the feelings of those around me. In my younger years this led to chronic burnout, and it was through working with an amazing counsellor and embarking on my own journey of self-reflection that I learned how to heal and show up with greater clarity and confidence.
Professionally, before becoming a counsellor, I spent two decades working in the public service, often under high political pressure or in stressful and remote locations. I connected with people from diverse cultural and faith backgrounds, many carrying their own stories of trauma, hardship and resilience. Through these experiences, I discovered my passion for the power of human connection and the healing power of walking alongside people through their most difficult times.
